Class Information

The purpose of this course is to prepare students for the PMP® certification exam that is offered by the Project Management Institute. Although you will learn about project management from attending this class, it is a structured review of the PMBOK® Guide, 3rd Edition led by experienced, practicing project managers and is focused on:

- Providing a thorough review of the PMBOK® Guide

- Providing explanation of tools & techniques in the PMBOK® Guide

- Helping you identify your weaknesses and concentrate your study efforts

- Providing tips and tricks for taking the PMP® exam

The class will meet one night per week for 12 weeks for 3 hours each night. This class qualifies for 36 Educational Contact hours required to sit for the PMP® Exam. The number of participants is limited. You do not need to be a PMI member to attend.

  Student Commitment
Preparing for the PMP® Exam is not an easy task. The PMBOK Guide, 3rd Edition has doubled in content and the passing scale for the exam is higher. Former class participants have informed us that you can expect to spend 4-8 hours per week to adequately prepare for the exam.

This class will prepare you to achieve your goal of successfully passing the PMP® Exam. This will be accomplished by reviewing the concepts, terminology, tools and techniques based on the project management processes that you can apply in the “real world” to your projects.

This class is to help you stay focused on your goals. One benefit of this workshop is you are not going it alone. You will have the opportunity to meet other project management practitioners, discuss with them their study habits, discover learning insights, and share different tips and tricks to provide you valuable information.

“I wanted to thank both of you for your time and efforts in teaching the class. Your class was the first formal PMP® preparation class I attended. I felt I learned more from your teaching methods, the approach of the subject and the classroom environment that both of you created.”

“Tell your students, straight from the mouth of a fresh test taker, the prep course works! Your preparations put me exactly on the course I needed to be on. Thanks again, I couldn't have done it without your course, your feedback, and the great tools that you gave to me during the course!”
